You could say that i'm on a streak of getting $1000 every month...
Claire, Robyn and I went downtown to the Urban Outfitter's Sample Sale this week and stuffed everything we could into a bag for $50. Purchase the bag for 50 bones and take home everything that can fit in it for no extra cost.
We waited in line for about 1 & 1/2 hours, calmly presented our ticket at the door, then made a Walmart-on-back-Friday-rush to the tables and racks spilling over with sample items.

I ended up with 50 items in my bag... calculating... yes, that is $1 each. holla. I took a picture of my favorites:
[Frye Boots]
[favorite: black blazer]
[leather jacket #2]
Other items include 1 purse, 1 wallet, 2 sweatshirt, 3 dresses, 3 belts, 5 stockings, 12 shirts.
[my loot]
Our theme song for the day: "Just Throw It In The Bag..."
Claire and I went to Zuma Beach in Malibu after to soak up our (Oregon sun deprived) skin. Lesson learned: bring sun screen...
We decided to finish off the night with dinner and drinks at my house. But, my car decided to finish off the day broken down on the side of the Pacific Coast Highway.
This is my worst nightmare. I guess I've always known that my car would brake down (again) eventually, but for a while there I was thinking it was indestructible. At this point, I'm just praying that I will not have to part with EXIT, because I think we still have much more adventuring to do. Just do as the Little Engine did: "I think I can, I think I can..."
