Wipeout

I know her.

I remember Claire telling me that her and Matt... *ehem, Matt*... wanted to try out for couples Wipeout. He had convinced Claire and after starting the application, they found out that Spring Wipeout was not casting for couples. Claire stopped filling out the 100 page application because of a hand cramp (right...?), and knew those big balls would never be hers. Little did she know, the producers thought otherwise.

Life went on as normal for Claire for a while, until she got the call from the producers of Wipeout asking her to complete her application and come in for an interview.

The next few weeks were a blur with check-ups, a few interviews and before she knew it, "Mrs. Fixity" was showing off her cool back-bend moves on Wipeout!

Who knew that just a few weeks after my daytime television debut on Ellen, one of my best friends would one-up me with her prime time debut on Wipeout. But I'll give it to her, at least I didn't break my eardrum during my very un-painful, anticipated drop down to a cushy mat...(sorry, Claire!)

Regardless of the outcome, I am so impressed with Claire Voisine, and so lucky to call her my friend.
