At the end of February, I ran an event in the Empire State Building, on the 60th floor, lets just say the view wasn't all that bad...
The keynote speaker was Rudy Giuliani - so of course I got a picture.
But, the best part was Brandon flying out to New Jersey the same weekend!
Saturday night, after the event, we met up with his friends in New York City for dinner and drove back to New Jersey for the weekend. I felt a lot of pressure meeting his childhood best friends, until Brandon knocked over my glass spilling the contents all over the table. Clearly, he felt more pressure than I did.
We explored Brandon's old high school (Athlete of the year x2), ate pizza, bagels, Dunkin' Donuts, met up with his "second family" for dinner and on Monday took the train back into the city to explore. I couldn't think of anyone else I would rather to be with walking through Central Park (besides maybe Al-Shen. No offense, babe, she is just obsessed with the city).
