Every once in a while I check out Ted Talks and today I saw a friend was featured in a segment. When I say friend, I mean the Courtney's classmate's roommate who came over twice. But, for the sake of not making you read that title more than once, I will call her a friend. Her name: Natalie Warne.
I remember during a conversation we had a few months back, that she mentioned she would be featured in a Ted Talks segment about Invisible Children and being empowered to make a difference. I never really followed up with it but while perusing the web for a much needed break from work, I saw her segment. I listened to it, and was in awe of how powerful her talk was. I encourage you all to listen to it right now. But be warned, I cried. I love listening to people who know they can make a difference in other peoples lives. It is empowering.
